Work Diary
In this session I decide that I'd do my best to re-create a crime scene, I gathered two friends and covered their hands and neck in red paint. I proceeded to take photos of their hands, the murder weapon (pair of scissors) as well as the 'wound' and hands of both the victim and murderer. I found this session to be fun and creative, I chose to take photos from many angles including portraits and POV. I'm very happy with the outcome of this session.
This is my favourite photo from the session, I like the way the blood isn't too much but just enough as well as the fact that the background is completely black. It's like you're the vicim realising what has happened and you're entire world goes dark.
This is another photo from the session that I really like, I enjoy this one because the 'murder weapon' blends into the floor and just leaves an outline of 'blood'. I tried taking this without the shoe of the murderer and with the victims shoes and then both and this was my favourite out of those choices.
For next time I think I'll carry on this idea of a crime scene but decide to take it into location and do it within the real world, with more bodies and police tape and possibly even someone else taking photos.
