This image was taken from the internet, here you can see a person whose face has been smoothed over or cloned over using another part of the body. I think this look is really cool, it adds so much to the picture, perhaps a loss of identity and someone who doesn't quite know who they are yet, there could be so many reasons to why the artists removed the models face, from looking at the picture we can see that the model is in a calm position, perhaps thinking about something which again could link to the idea of lost identity or trying to find one. 

This is my image and here i decided to remove the faces of my models, I used this picture to portray this effect as i felt it could add mystery and story to the image, for example the both the victim and the murderer are faceless this could symbolise unfinished cases within the police force or crimes that aren't spoken about for whatever reasons. 

Between the two photos we can see the similarity as all models are faceless, along with this both were taken in a studio using a black background, both pictures create mystery using the faceless effect. Theres  a story behind both photos and although possibly very different stories they are able to create the same effect on the viewer and give them questions that will leave the viewer intrigued.
